Moin, I'm Cornelius. I live and work in Basel as a paramedic and healthcare enthusiast.Away from my laptop and the ambulance, I either overestimate my hiking skills in the Alps or swim in the Rhine.
Experience
As the founder of Happyr Health, I've led a small yet mighty team, developing products that make chronic pain management fun for young people, partnering with the UK's largest pediatric NHS hospitals.
Previously, as COO at Blockpit, we grew the team from 5 to 25 and secured millions in funding, making Blockpit the #1 cryptocurrency tax solutions provider in Europe.
At KPMG Vienna, I advised high-growth companies on strategy and operations. Blockpit, initially a client, subsequently hired me.
In parallel to my entrepreneurial and consulting roles, I am an active paramedic.
Education
During my university years, I found the motivation that was lacking in school. I hold postgraduate degrees in Healthcare and Design from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, as well as Entrepreneurship from the University of Cambridge, where I soaked in my personal Harry Potter experience in the colleges. I began my Bachelor's at Hanze University in Groningen but moved to IMC Krems to complete my degree in Business Administration, aligning with my career moves to KPMG and Blockpit in Austria. And though I didn't win any house cups for Gryffindor, my academic journey has been marked by some "muggle" awards, and distinctions.
